Your Onboarding Checklist: What We Need From You

Before we can set up your CRM and marketing automation, we need a few things from you. This checklist covers everything required to get started — most clients complete it in under 30 minutes, and it's the single biggest factor in how quickly you go live.

1. Your Business Verification (CP575 Form)

What it is: the CP575 is a one-page letter from the IRS confirming your business's EIN (Employer Identification Number).

Why we need it: text messaging regulations require us to verify your business identity before activating SMS. This is called A2P registration, and it protects consumers from spam. Read more in CP575 & A2P Text Registration.

Where to find it:

  • Check your files from when you first registered your business
  • Search your email for "EIN" or "CP575"
  • If you can't find it, you can request a new copy from the IRS (takes 4 to 6 weeks) or use another official IRS document showing your EIN

What to send us: a photo or PDF of your CP575 letter, or any official IRS document showing your legal business name, your EIN, and your business address.

What we need:

  • PNG file with a transparent background (preferred)
  • High resolution (at least 500px wide)

Where to find it: ask whoever designed your logo, or search your Google Drive, Dropbox, or email for "logo."

Why we need it: your logo appears on all forms, emails, and landing pages we create for you.

3. Your Domain Registrar Login

What it is: the account where you purchased your website address (domain name). Common providers include GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, and Network Solutions.

Where to find it: search your email for "domain renewal" or "domain registration," or check your card statements for annual charges from these providers.

Why we need it: to connect a subdomain (like go.yourbusiness.com) to your marketing system. We only need temporary access, and you can change the password after we're done. See Connect Your Domain for how this works, and our step-by-step guides for Namecheap and Cloudflare.

4. Google Account Access

We use one email address for all Google integrations: [email protected].

PlatformAccess LevelWhy We Need It

Google Analytics (GA4)EditorTrack your marketing performance
Google Search ConsoleFull userMonitor your website's search health

Google Business Profile: follow Share Google Business Profile Access — it covers every step, including what to do if the current profile owner is unreachable.

Google Analytics: in Google Analytics, open Admin → Account Access Management, click the + button, add [email protected], and select the Editor role.

Google Search Console: in Search Console, select your property, open Settings → Users and permissions, click Add user, enter [email protected], and select Full permission.

Don't have these accounts yet? No problem — we can help you set them up during onboarding.
