How to Grant Symphony Core Access to Your Meta Business Manager
To run your Facebook/Instagram advertising, connect Messenger and Instagram DMs to your CRM, or set up WhatsApp, Symphony Core needs partner access to your Meta Business Manager. Partner access is the right way to do this — you keep full ownership of your assets (Page, ad account, pixel) and can remove our access at any time. You should never give out your personal Facebook password.
What you need first
- A Meta Business Manager account at business.facebook.com. If you don't have one, you'll create it (it's free) — or we'll guide you through it.
- Your Facebook Page and, if you advertise, an ad account inside that Business Manager.
How to add Symphony Core as a partner
- Go to business.facebook.com and open Business Settings (the gear icon).
- In the left menu, find Partners (under "Users").
- Choose to add a partner and enter the Business Manager ID your Symphony Core contact gives you.
- Select the assets to share — typically your Page, ad account, and (for WhatsApp) your WhatsApp Business Account — and the access level for each. We'll tell you exactly which assets and roles to grant for your service.
- Confirm. We'll accept from our side.
Meta moves things around in Business Settings from time to time. Your Symphony Core contact can share their Business Manager ID and screen-share the current screens so you grant exactly the right assets — no more, no less.
Keeping control
- You own everything; partner access is revocable anytime under Partners in Business Settings.
- Granting partner access is safer than adding us as a "user" with your login, and far safer than sharing a password.
Key takeaways
- Add Symphony Core as a partner in Meta Business Settings → Partners using the Business Manager ID we provide.
- Share the specific assets we ask for (Page, ad account, WhatsApp) — you keep ownership and can revoke anytime.
- Never share your personal Facebook password.
